WE'RE IN THE MUNNY

Kid Robot's beloved whatchamacallits are back, and with brand new designers.

This morning, Kelly and I tried to explain what a Munny was to Jay, who'd never seen the Kid Robot toy up close.

"It's like a monkey," started Kelly, "but with no fur and a blank face."

"And artists draw all over them," I continued, "Oh and they have these cute little sticking-out ears..."

Our depictions may have been an epic fail, but there's no questioning the Munny's appeal - when we finally caved, broke into Marvin's office, and showed Jay an actual Munny, he quickly got the point (and smiled).

Soon, Jay won't be the only one with Munnies on his mind. Today, Kid Robot launches an art exhibit with their newest one-of-a-kind toys, including Munnies created by fashion designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, graffiti artist KRONK, and sneaker creator Dave White.

New Yorkers can see the whole exhibit at Eloquent Delinquents Gallery in SoHo; those not in Manhattan can get a sneak preview right now with the featured Munnies below!
